Photoshop Plugins

Since version 4.0 we added in Focus Photoeditor support for Photoshop compatible plugins.

The program has been successfully tested on almost all Photoshop 5 plugins and on the majority of 3rdy party plugins (freeware, shareware or commercial).

The best way to use plugins in Focus is to put them into one folder in your computer: inside this folder they can be also divided in subfolders.

To add a plugins folder choose from Main menu Filters > Plugins > Photoshop Plugins Folder

Once the folder has been added the plugins will be imported and accessible from Main Menu > Filters > Plugins.

Just click onto a plugin item in the menu and it will be launched.

Some notes about Photoshop compatible plugins: the latest plugins from Adobe are not compatible with the old standard, so you will probably  not be able to load all Adobe Photoshop 7-8 proprietary plugins in Focus.

If you get any error loading these plugins it's advisable to change the plugins folder: dont keep in the folder any plugin that you are not able to use with Focus or that you encountered an error with, because this could harm the program at a later time.

Focus Photoeditor also loads plugins when it's started so if you experiment any error in the startup it's likely that you have some plugin not working or creating conflicts, in this case again change the plugins folder or move away those plugins that are not working.
